My Macmillan Coffee Morning

Last Friday, I hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning (day) to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It was fantastic and definitely recommend doing this type of thing to raise money for charity- eat cake, drink tea and catch up with friends and family!

I spent the whole of Thursday, the day before, baking and decorating which my daughter also enjoyed! I ended up making; Ginger cake, carrot cake with a cinnamon butter cream, toffee muffins with chocolate frosting, chocolate cake pops, coffee cake topped with dark chocolate with a vanilla butter cream center and a lemon loaf topped with a lemon mousse. My friend Channon made nutalla muffins with whole meal flour and my sister-in-law and niece made some iced biscuits! We has loads- to be honest I did have an awful lot left over!
On the I ran the event for the whole day as a lot of people were at work and I wanted to maximise the donations and catch up with people I would not normally have been able to see.

In total me and my guests raised £81.03p!! I am so proud of myself and everyone who contrabuted with all the effort made. Thank you everyone!!

If you would like any of the recipes, please let me know! 💚
